our mission
Commons School of Discipleship exists to build a movement on campus where Christian students become competent disciples of Jesus and experience the fullness of life in the Kingdom of God, resulting in revival among the lost.
our model
PERSON (QUARTER 1)
What is God like? What we think about God is the most important thing about us and dictates how we interact with him day by day. Do we fundamentally view God as a person that can only be pleased by our obedience, or do we view God as the Trinitarian community that stopped at nothing to not only reconcile us with Him but unite us to his very self?
PRESENCE (QUARTER 2)
Where is God? How do we move beyond merely spending time in prayer in the morning to dwelling with God all throughout the day? Everything in the Christian life flows from being in God’s presence. We want to live the With-God life, where all of our lives come from dwelling with God.
POWER (QUARTER 3)
What kind of person does God entrust His power to? God only gives his power to his servants that will steward it for the sake of others. We must die to our own selfish desires and motives in order for God to allow His life to flow through us to others.
